Job Responsibility:
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our team to manage billing for a Manitoba Public Insurance towing and recovery service contract in the City of Winnipeg. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing billing processes, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining financial records. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and strong analytical skills to support our towing operations.
Duties
Prepare and issue invoices in a timely manner
Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of billing records
Analyze billing discrepancies
Enter data accurately into accounting software
Maintain organized records of all billing transactions and communications
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Billing Clerk or similar role
Proficiency in accounting software is preferred
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Work Location: Hybrid remote in St. Andrews, MB R1A 3P1
Expected start date: 2025-06-23
