Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a law firm or legal department
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Proficiency with legal software (e.g., Primafact, Filevine, PC Law, etc.—depending on the firm)
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to a new team
- Professional communication skills and discretion
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and legal support to lawyers and/or clerks
- Draft, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence
- Organize and maintain legal files and records
- Manage scheduling, deadlines, and court dates
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court offices as required
