Reporting to the Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance, the position enhances the RCM framework across alternative mortgage, GIC, and digital banking activities. It combines regulatory research, business advisory support, and control oversight to address applicable requirements and industry codes.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regulatory risk and control assessments across business activitiesCoordinate business-unit reviews and compliance requirement sign-offsTrack regulatory changes, action plans, breaches, and control issuesAdvise on policies, systems, controls, and escalation processesPrepare change-management materials and annual RCM reviewsRequirements:
Four to five years’ financial services or retail banking experienceCompliance, audit, or internal control experience preferredStrong knowledge of OSFI, FINTRAC, CDIC, and FCAC guidanceUnderstanding of deposit-taking and mortgage product complianceProfessional skepticism, curiosity, and complex problem-solving abilityBring regulatory risk judgment and control expertise to improve compliance practices across Haventree Bank’s evolving financial services platform.
