Utilities Project Cost Controller

This position requests proven experience, ideally 4-7 years, in Project Controls within utilities, transit, or heavy civil infrastructure sectors. You'll manage cost control systems, prepare cash flow forecasts, and perform variance analysis to ensure financial integrity across projects. Your work will directly influence the alignment of cost baselines with project tasks and reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with progress reporting and payment milestones
• Lead internal cost reporting and align with client cycles
• Maintain and track changes in the Change Management system
• Develop project-specific controls aligned with Aecon standards
• Capture lessons learned for future project enhancements

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in project controls for utilities
• In-depth knowledge of Earned Value Management and cost practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SAP
• Analytical with strong organizational capabilities
