Part Time Live Out Nanny - August/September start

Part-Time Nanny Wanted for Our 11-Month-Old Son We are a healthcare professional family seeking a warm, reliable, and engaging nanny to care for our nearly 11-month-old son starting in August/September. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and can provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports his growth, development, and curiosity. Our ideal candidate has previous experience nannying, babysitting, working in childcare, or caring for infants and toddlers. Familiarity with Montessori principles or other child-led, developmentally focused approaches is strongly preferred. We value respectful caregiving, independence, exploration, and learning through play. Responsibilities include:

• Providing attentive, loving care and supervision
• Planning age-appropriate activities, sensory play, outdoor time, and developmental opportunities
• Supporting meals, snacks, and nap routines
• Preparing and serving food according to parental instructions
• Carefully following our son's dietary restrictions and food sensitivities, including food safety practices and avoiding restricted foods
• Light child-related housekeeping, such as tidying toys, cleaning up meal areas, and washing dishes used during the day
• Maintaining open communication with parents regarding routines, milestones, and daily activities

We also have two friendly dogs in the home. While pet care is not a primary responsibility, the successful candidate should be comfortable around dogs, and occasional assistance with them may be appreciated. This position will begin as part-time, with the potential for increased hours if the relationship is a great fit for both our family and our son. We are hoping to find someone interested in building a long-term relationship with our family. At this time, driving is not required. However, for a long-term arrangement, transportation assistance for school, activities, or appointments may become part of the role in future years. Qualifications:

• Previous childcare experience (nannying, babysitting, daycare, or related experience)
• Experience caring for infants and/or toddlers
• Montessori training, education, or experience is considered a strong asset
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Dependable, trustworthy, and proactive
• Comfortable around dogs
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting children's development
