Business Data Analyst – Data Platform & MDM (Profisee / Databricks)
Remote | 12-Month Contract Opportunity | Enterprise Data Initiative
Opportunity Overview
We are supporting a client in securing a Business Data Analyst (Consultant) to contribute to a large-scale enterprise data transformation initiative .
The consultant will play a key role in bridging business needs and data solutions , supporting initiatives related to Master Data Management (MDM), data platforms, and system integrations .
This opportunity is well suited for consultants with experience working in data-driven environments, complex stakeholder ecosystems, and enterprise transformation programs .
Client Environment & Focus Areas
The engagement will involve work across:
- Master Data Management (MDM) solutions (Profisee)
- Data platform initiatives (Databricks)
- Data integration (ingress / egress, middleware)
- Data governance and solution governance
- Portfolio backlog prioritization and delivery planning
Consultant Profile – What the Client Is Looking For
The client is looking for consultants who can demonstrate experience in the following areas:
Core Experience
- Experience as a Business Analyst supporting data-related initiatives
- Background in one or more of:
- Master Data Management (MDM)
- Data Quality / Data Governance
- Customer or enterprise data environments
Platform & Technical Exposure (Key Requirements)
- Experience working with Profisee MDM (preferred)
- Experience working with Databricks (preferred)
- Exposure to data integration and multi-system environments
- Experience with Azure DevOps is an asset
Delivery & Program Experience
- Ability to translate business needs into structured requirements
- Experience supporting integration testing across multiple systems
- Exposure to complex programs with multiple stakeholders, workstreams, or vendors
- Experience identifying and managing risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines
Collaboration & Communication
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts to both business and technical audiences
- Experience working closely with:
- Business stakeholders
- Product owners
- Technical and data teams
- Bilingual (English / French) is an asset
What You Will Be Doing
- Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and data requirements
- Translating requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Supporting MDM and data platform initiatives , including integration work
- Participating in integration testing and validation activities
- Collaborating across teams to ensure alignment and delivery readiness
- Contributing to backlog prioritization and solution planning
- Supporting governance practices and alignment with data policies
