WSP Construction Field Inspector Role

Become a Construction Field Inspector with WSP in Prince Rupert, BC. You will play a key role in a significant infrastructure replacement project, ensuring compliance and safety standards.
WSP is looking for an experienced Construction Field Inspector to contribute to a landmark project in Prince Rupert. This role involves living locally for the duration or working a 2-week rotational schedule. You will oversee compliance with project specifications and monitor contractor performance, ensuring quality in all aspects of the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect construction activities for compliance and quality
• Document daily activities and progress with reports
• Monitor safety and environmental compliance on-site
• Coordinate resolution of field issues with stakeholders
• Identify and address non-conformances as needed
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
• At least 5 years of inspection experience on large projects
• Strong understanding of construction practices
• Familiarity with inspection documentation
• Valid driver’s license and safety compliance commitment
