Ai Conversation Platform Engineering Manager

Lead AI/ML direction for Stripe’s Conversation Platform, building RAG systems and fine-tuned models for merchants worldwide. This engineering leadership role is end to end.As an Engineering Manager, you will guide teams developing machine learning models, streaming feature pipelines, and production systems. You will set technical and process direction based on business goals. The team builds conversation capabilities that automate easy tasks and assist users with difficult ones.Key Responsibilities:

At least four years managing machine learning teamsMachine Learning Engineer or Applied Scientist experienceExperience building and shipping machine learning systemsExperience leading teams in ambiguous environmentsPreferred experience shipping LLM and RAG systemsShape Stripe’s AI Conversation Platform through technical leadership, production machine learning, team development, and RAG expertise.
