Position Overview
The Chapman Group is helping its client, Saint John Newcomers Centre, hire its next Executive Director. Reporting to the Board of Directors through the Board Chair, the Executive Director provides strategic leadership, organizational direction, and full accountability for SJNC's mission, people, operations, and organizational performance. The Executive Director is responsible for the organization's financial sustainability, program quality, community trust, organizational culture, and effective governance. This is an ideal opportunity for a community-oriented leader with a strong record of organizational and people leadership, a demonstrated commitment to inclusion, and the ability to work effectively across government, employer, funder, and community relationships.
The successful candidate will be a strategic, people-focused, and culturally responsive leader who builds trust, strengthens relationships, supports employees, and advances SJNC's mission. They will understand the realities of nonprofit leadership and be able to lead effectively in a complex and evolving community environment.
