Senior Transaction Tax Manager

Lead transaction tax advisory at BDO through due diligence and tax structuring across office, client-site, and virtual work settings.As Senior Manager, you will support transaction tax matters for acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations. Your work will include Canadian and international private equity funds, tax modelling, and purchase and sale agreements. You will also prepare technical deliverables and guide engagement teams.Key Responsibilities:
Lead buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence engagementsAnalyze complex tax issues and design tax-efficient structuresReview purchase, sale, and ancillary agreements with counselManage, mentor, and develop engagement team membersSupport private equity business development and client opportunitiesRequirements:
Completed CPA designation or LLBMaster of Taxation or CPA Canada In-depth Tax completionAt least six years in professional services, specializing in TaxExperience identifying issues, developing solutions, and leading teamsStrong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skillsBring transaction tax, private equity, and client leadership expertise to BDO’s growing advisory team.
