Boom Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight logistics effectively. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive heavy trucks to transport goods over long distances.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
• Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid DZ license
• Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$32.95 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
