Courier Service Driver Eastwave Transport Systems Location Dartmouth, NS Work Location On site Salary 24.45 hourly / 40 to 48 hours per week Full time Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend Starts as soon as possible Benefits: Health benefits, Long term benefits, other benefits Languages English Education No degree, certificate or diploma Experience 1 year to less than 2 years Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products Receive and relay information to central dispatch Load and unload goods Follow directions and read map Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems Provide customer service Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles) Experience and specialization Transportation/travel experience Local Additional information Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability Reliability Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Disability benefits Health care plan Vision care benefits Long term benefits Long-term care insurance Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) Other benefits Free parking available Parking available Until: 2026-11-03
