Senior Civil Engineer expertise meets construction quality leadership at Suncor’s Firebag site in Fort McMurray, on an 8x6 dayshift rotation.Agilus by Synergie is recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer for a 12-month Oil and Gas contract. The position supports construction activities through field technical responses, quality reviews, inspections, and project turnover. You will work with contractors, vendors, project teams, and the Engineer of Record.Key Responsibilities:
Participate in FLHA, CCA, and contractor safety meetingsRespond to field inquiries and technical construction issuesReview shop drawings, work packages, and QA documentsConduct inspections, audits, surveillance, and construction walkdownsVerify redlines and final turnover package completenessRequirements:
Alberta-registered P.Eng. able to authenticate professional work productsFamiliarity with Alberta and National Building CodesExperience reviewing FCN, DCN, and NCR closeoutAbility to coordinate contractors and resolve construction concernsParticipation in mechanical completion and care transfer processesApply civil engineering, construction quality, and field coordination expertise across Suncor’s Firebag project delivery and turnover activities.
