Safeside.ca is a home security company serving Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton, and the wider GTA, providing homeowners and businesses with reliable security systems, alarm monitoring, and peace of mind. We're growing and looking for a driven Sales Associate to join our team.

The Role

Every lead is hot. No cold calling. No door knocking. No lead generation. We handle all the marketing — every appointment on your calendar is a homeowner or business that has already reached out to us and wants a quote. You're never chasing anyone; they're waiting for you.

Your job is the part of sales most reps wish they could do all day: show up to pre-booked appointments with interested customers, assess the property, take measurements, provide an accurate quote, and close the deal. You'll also nurture relationships with existing clients to earn referrals and follow up on outstanding invoices.

The honest trade-off: you will drive a lot. This is a true road role — roughly 90% of your time is behind the wheel or on site, covering appointments across Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton, and the wider GTA every day, with about 10% working from home on follow-ups and admin. All work-related mileage is reimbursed, but if daily GTA driving isn't for you, this isn't your role. If you're happiest out of the office and on the move, read on.

What You'll Do

• Drive to pre-booked appointments with hot leads — customers who have already requested a quote — across Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton & the GTA
• Conduct on-site assessments, take measurements, and provide accurate quotes for home security solutions
• Answer questions, address concerns, and close sales with warm, already-interested customers
• Visit referrals from existing clients and build relationships that generate repeat business
• Follow up on outstanding bills and invoices as needed
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, quotes, and sales activity
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets

What This Role Is NOT

• No prospecting or hunting for your own leads — our marketing team keeps your calendar full
• No cold calling or telemarketing
• No door-to-door solicitation

If you've done outside sales before and the part you hated was chasing leads, this role removes exactly that.

What You Bring

• Previous experience in sales, ideally in home services, home security, or a related field-based role
• A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and a real comfort with long days on the road (required — this role involves substantial daily driving across the GTA)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you're comfortable in people's homes and can build trust quickly
• Self-motivated and organized — you'll manage your own schedule and route planning day-to-day
• Comfortable with quoting, negotiating, and closing on the spot
• Familiarity with home security products is an asset but not required — we'll train you

Compensation & Benefits

• $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Up to 7% commission on sales — with a calendar full of hot, pre-qualified appointments, your closing opportunities start on day one
• Mileage reimbursement for all work-related driving
• Full-time position: 37.5 hours per week
