Overview: We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in a bustling restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. Duties: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces. - Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. - Follow recipes and presentation specifications. - Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Ensure all food and other items are stored properly. - Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Line Cook in the food industry or similar role. - Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. - Understanding of food safety practices. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Team player with good communication skills. - High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Nice-to-Have Skills: - Experience in food handling and meal preparation. - Familiarity with kitchen operations in a restaurant setting. - Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures. - Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks as needed. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, SeasonalContract length: 12 months

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

• Secondary School (required)

Experience:
