Cashier

Job Description

We’re looking for a “Cashier” because “Being Awesome” isn’t a job title we can use.

As a cashier you will also be doing other duties that are needed for that day, cashier is not the only position you will learn , grill , Tim Horton , deli is also part of the job. We work as a team so that no one works alone .

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
• Help at ohter positions like Tim Horton , Grill and Deli bar.
• Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned for unit based on operating hours
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at the end of shift.
• Ensure product in location is stocked to appropriate levels throughout service and replenish items as needed. 
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Previous cash handling experience preferred
• Basic math & counting skills required
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision 
• Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location

Must be able to pass a goverment clearance 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The pay for this position is $19.05 hr Monday to Friday
