Data & AI Governance Advisor

Support enterprise data and AI governance with BMO as a Governance Risk Advisor. Leverage your expertise in governance frameworks and risk management to provide advisory insights. In this Senior GRC Advisor role, you will report directly to the Associate Director of T&O Risk. With 5-7 years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance, you will deeply engage with data governance and AI-related processes to refine standards and best practices. Your role includes clarifying governance expectations and supporting risk assessments across the organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Provide advisory support for data and AI governance
• Clarify expectations and risk considerations for business partners
• Facilitate governance forums and stakeholder discussions
• Review governance artifacts and provide feedback

Requirements:

• 5-7 years in governance or risk management
• Knowledge of data privacy and AI governance
• Experience with risk assessments (PSPRA, RCRA)
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Certifications: CDMP, CRISC, or CGRC
