Job Description
The Carpenter General will support modular renovations and installations, working on a variety of mixed project types within a medium-sized team. This role requires proficiency in carpentry tasks such as measurement, assembly, and material handling, with daily travel within the city to different job sites. The carpenter will report directly to the on-site supervisor and is expected to have their own transportation and hand tools to efficiently contribute to project success.
Responsibilities
- Perform modular installations and renovations
- Handle and organize materials on site
- Take accurate measurements and assist with layout
- Assemble modular components and structures
- Collaborate with a medium team (5-10 members)
- Report progress and issues to the direct on-site supervisor
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in carpentry
- Background in modular construction
- Proficient with hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong measuring and layout skills
- Effective time management abilities
- Must have own transportation (required)
