Lead the legal function at Prospeo as a Senior Privacy Counsel, focusing on privacy compliance and contract management in a full remote setting. As a Senior Privacy & Commercial Counsel at Prospeo, you will own critical privacy operations, commercial contracts, and regulatory coordination. You will take charge of GDPR compliance, handle data subject requests, and draft essential contracts. Reporting directly to the co-founders, this role offers autonomy in a rapidly scaling B2B SaaS environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day privacy programs across multiple jurisdictions
• Draft and negotiate customer agreements and vendor contracts
• Act as the primary legal resource for the company
• Oversee litigation and regulatory matters, advising the founders
• Facilitate vendor due diligence and inbound DPA negotiations

Requirements:

• JD or equivalent degree with bar admission in Canada
• CIPP/E certification required
• 4+ years of experience in privacy and commercial law
• Strong negotiation skills for contracts like DPAs and NDAs
• Experience with AI legal tools for enhanced productivity
