Elevate your payroll career with Black & McDonald as a Payroll Administrator in Markham, Ontario, balancing remote and in-office work. You'll ensure accurate payroll processing and handle vital communications with unions and stakeholders. As a Payroll Administrator, you will report directly to the Payroll Manager and contribute to the accounting and finance team’s success. This role requires expertise in wage schedules, payroll inquiries, and compliance with provincial regulations. Your focus on accuracy will be essential in processing payroll and handling returns. Key Responsibilities:
• Work with unions to interpret wage schedules
• Process payrolls accurately and on time
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external sources
• Prepare monthly and annual returns for provincial items
• Annual T4 and RL1 preparation Requirements:
• Completed PCP designation with NPI
• Over 3 years’ experience in payroll processing
• Knowledge of a deadline-driven environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
