We are a family of four looking for a caring and dependable nanny to provide after-school care for our sweet and lively 5-year-old daughter, starting September 9, 2026. This is a live-out position with a schedule of Monday to Friday from approximately 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., for less than 20 hours per week. We are hoping to find an active, positive caregiver who can help our daughter decompress after a long school day. She will be taking the bus home this year, so the role includes picking her up from a nearby bus stop (walkable) and safely bringing her home. Afternoons usually include offering healthy snacks, encouraging physical activity, doing crafts, enjoying open-ended dramatic play, and preparing an early dinner for her around 5:00 p.m. We would love someone who is willing to learn and use our family’s strategies for supporting deep feelings and dysregulation. A gentle, patient, and responsive approach is very important to us. A valid driver’s license is required, and you must be able to use your own car for transportation needs. Current CPR/First Aid certification and a current vulnerable sector check are also required.
