Human Resources / Finance Clerk

Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Officer and Finance Clerk, ensuring that all employee & financial records are accurately maintained and kept up to date.

Duties & responsibilities:
Respect and promote First Nation philosophy, values and beliefs.
Adhere to all 4DCFS Inc. policy & procedure manuals.
Maintaining an organized filing system for all appropriate financial documents.
Answer vendor and staff inquiries.
Assist with entering invoices, and vouchers for payment.
Match invoices with purchase orders.
Keep Program Director informed of potential accounting and billing problems.
Serve as a back-up for various accounting and administrative functions.
Provide assistance with clerical and technical support.
Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from employees.
Type forms, letters, reports, and memos as necessary.
Fax, photocopy, email and scan documents as required
Organize, maintain, and coordinate employee records and files in their proper locations.
Locate filed materials upon request, ensuring that materials are given only to authorized users.
Create new files and records as necessary.
Create new and maintain employee files in HR office.
Maintain paperwork in employee files.
Maintain databases.
Assist with setting up interviews and complete job reference checks. And help with setting up orientation and create orientation packages for new hires

Must be able to submit a criminal record with a vulnerable sector check, and a driver's abstract.
Applicant must live within Regina or surrounding area.
