Responsabilités du poste
- Créer des animations de haute qualité, visuellement époustouflantes et hyperréalistes pour des projets de séries et de longs métrages.
- Concevoir les performances des personnages à partir de zéro (ex nihilo), en travaillant en étroite collaboration avec le superviseur CG et le superviseur des effets visuels, afin de concrétiser la vision du client.
- Combiner le matchmove/la rotoscopie des mouvements des personnages avec des prises de relais réalistes pour les actions impossibles à capturer en direct sur le plateau.
- Fournir tout besoin secondaire d'animation d'objets à surface dure (véhicules, accessoires et autres objets de soutien), soit en tant que performance finale, soit pour assister et faciliter la simulation d'effets spéciaux.
- Communiquer de manière proactive les meilleures approches que vous pouvez envisager, pour relever les défis techniques et artistiques.
- Collaborez avec vos collègues des équipes d'animation et d'images de synthèse, en partageant votre expertise et votre esprit critique, afin de garantir les meilleurs résultats possibles pour le projet.
- Respecter et atteindre les quotas d'animation selon le calendrier prévu.
- Maintenir et assurer une communication efficace, avec la production de la série, concernant votre planification du programme de travail et vos échéances.
Qualifications et compétences indispensables
- Au moins 3 ans d'expérience en animation au sein d'un studio d'effets spéciaux
- Avoir une formation en animation traditionnelle ou en arts plastiques
- Excellente compréhension de la mécanique du corps, du jeu d'acteur et des techniques de narration
- Excellente maîtrise de Maya
- Expérience préalable avec la plateforme Linux
- Posséder une connaissance du rigging et de la modélisation
- Capacité à mener plusieurs tâches de front, à établir des priorités et à résoudre des problèmes
- Disposer d’un esprit de collaboration
- Être ouvert et réceptif aux directives et avoir la capacité à s'adapter au changement
- Être autonome, motivé et avoir de bonnes aptitudes à la communication et excellent esprit d'équipe
- Atouts : Connaissance du scripting avec Mel ou Python, expérience avec Houdini
