Senior Financial Analyst

Our client is an iconic Canadian multinational distributor looking to add to their team a Senior Financial Analyst for an initial term of 6 months. There is a strong chance for this role to either extend longer or convert to a full-time role. This is an in-office 4 days per week role.
As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in leading internal segment reporting, cost allocation, and performance analytics across business units. This role also supports period-end and year-end close processes, delivering insightful financial analysis and commentary to senior leadership, while preparing high-quality management reporting for key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- CPA [preferred designation, open to relevant experience without CPA] with 5+ years hands on experience
- Strong analytical and financial process expertise, with experience in complex data analysis, established accounting principles, and IFRS/IAS standards.
- Retail/Distribution external reporting experience with advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power BI skills; SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori knowledge is an asset.
