Financial Controller
to join a growing organization and work directly with the CFO. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with broad exposure across financial reporting, technical accounting, acquisition integration, compliance, planning and process improvement.The role offers an exciting opportunity to help integrate a newly acquired business before progressively taking ownership of the broader financial controlling and planning function.What you'll be doingAcquisition & integrationLead finance-related activities associated with the integration of a newly acquired entitySupport migration of financial data, chart of accounts, fixed assets and other accounting structuresPartner with the acquired business and CFO throughout the integrationSupport purchase price allocation and other acquisition-related accounting activitiesOwn and improve the month-end close process across multiple entities and currenciesReview financial results, reconciliations, intercompany balances and transfer pricingPrepare variance analysis, management commentary and executive/Board reportingEnsure financial statements and supporting schedules are accurate and completeTechnical accounting & complianceLead or coordinate external audits and statutory reportingPartner with tax and accounting advisors on compliance requirementsApply US GAAP to complex accounting matters, including leases, consolidation, foreign currency and acquisitionsIdentify and resolve accounting, tax and reporting issuesPlanning & process improvementSupport and progressively take ownership of budgeting and forecastingIdentify opportunities to automate and streamline finance processesLeverage tools such as Excel, Power Query, accounting-system functionality, AI and third-party technologyContribute to broader finance initiatives including project accounting, transfer pricing and currency-related projectsWhat we're looking for8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally combining public accounting and industry experienceExperience in
financial controlling, financial reporting or a similar corporate finance functionStrong working knowledge of
US GAAPExperience with
consolidation, lease accounting and business combinations/acquisition accountingStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to work independently while partnering effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teamsA genuine interest in
