What You'll Do Here:

At Aecon, people are at the heart of everything we do. Aecon is focused on identifying, attracting, and hiring talented and diverse Paving Personnel for the 2025 Construction Season.

• Operate the heavy equipment in a safe manner.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the paver.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Team:

• 2-3 years’ experience as a heavy equipment operator
• 2-3 years’ experience working on municipal and highway
• Maintains a valid Class 5 driver’s license or better.
• Willing to work overtime, as required.
• Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing requirement.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
• Ability to communicate and report effectively in a team environment.
