HVAC Technician

Located in Kenora, Ontario (Lake of the Woods), we are expanding our mechanical team and hiring for the position of HVAC Technician/Plumber/Gas Fitter/Sheet Metal Worker or Apprentice .

We are a growing contracting firm seeking out highly skilled, motivated individuals to join us during our expansion and looking for a candidate with experience in the commercial, industrial & residential sectors. Our team consists of electrical, HVAC & plumbing professionals who provide service in/around Kenora and throughout the northwestern Ontario region.

Job Duties

Installation of HVAC systems
Preventive maintenance of the above systems (equipment & accessories)
Diagnose, troubleshoot & repair damaged and/or dysfunctional HVAC systems
Respond to urgent/emergent service requests as needed
Install and connect boilers and furnaces to natural gas and propane systems
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for plumbing installations.

Qualifications

Valid driver's licence
Plumbing, Sheet Metal Worker, or Gas Technician (TSSA), and/or G2/G3 preferred
Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in plumbing and HVAC installations
Understanding of mechanical concepts related to plumbing and HVAC systems
Valid Gas Fitter license or Sheet Metal ticket
