In the PennyLane Performance Team, you will play an essential role in building a high-performance software stack that enhances the capabilities of quantum hardware. You will manage benchmarking and profiling tools while developing enhancements for quantum applications. Your findability in software development ensures that the PennyLane framework remains industry-leading.
Key Responsibilities: - Implement frameworks for benchmarking quantum software performance - Develop adaptable software components for unique hardware platforms - Transform algorithm descriptions into efficient code - Communicate complex software concepts to the team - Uphold software engineering best practices and quality assurance
Requirements: - BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Math - Background in quantum computing - Expertise in Modern C++ and Python programming - In-depth knowledge of computer architecture and profiling tools - Proven troubleshooting skills across programming environments
