Staff Ai Platform Engineer
Senpilot
Build AI-powered product features at Senpilot using TypeScript, Python, and system design judgment in a hybrid Toronto work model.As a Staff Software Engineer, you will define technical direction while shipping production code across the stack. You will turn ambiguous, cross-cutting problems into maintained systems that engineers can extend. The work spans AI-native engineering, architecture, data modeling, and customer-informed product decisions.Key Responsibilities:
Define technical strategy and architecture across security and scaleOwn complex features from scope through measurement and iterationDesign pragmatic data models and durable schemasTalk with customers to shape technical and product decisionsMentor engineers and improve standards, tooling, and AI-assisted codingRequirements:
Five or more years building and shipping production softwareHands-on AI-native engineering experience producing reliable outputStrong system design and architecture judgment across the stackExperience leading ambiguous initiatives with multiple stakeholdersExperience mentoring senior engineers and shaping engineering standardsBring AI-native engineering, architecture, and full stack delivery experience to Senpilot’s intelligent infrastructure products in Toronto.
