Crusher Operator

Located in the heart of the mineable oil sands of Alberta, the Hammerstone Quarry is one of the largest limestone quarries in Western Canada. The Quarry provides a year-round source of quality limestone aggregates that are essential to the growth, operational sustainability and environmental performance of the Alberta oil sands industry. Hammerstone is currently seeking a Crusher Operator that will be primarily responsible for working in a team environment where individual input is not just valued but expected. • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a 5-year clean driver's abstract
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work both day and night shifts
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment Physical Demands Analysis (PDA) representative of the work required
• Canadian Safety Training System (CSTS) certification is required
• Additional safety training is considered an asset

• Minimum of 3 years' experience with aggregate crushing operations, including equipment adjustments and repairs
• Experience operating some or all of the following equipment: skid steer, zoom boom, aerial lift, tele-stacker
• Experience performing maintenance and servicing on equipment such as cone liners, jaw plates, screens, gearboxes, etc.
• Mechanical aptitude or experience is considered an asset

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also working independently and self-directed as required

• 12-hour shifts
• 20 days on / 10 days off
• Day and night shifts
