Estimator

## Main Responsibilities

• Interpret structural and architectural drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements (painting requirements, special assemblies, specialty steel grades, oversized transportation requirements, etc.).
• Review and interpret bid documents, including addenda, RFIs, clarifications, scopes of work, bid forms, price breakdowns, and related documentation.
• Analyze structural and architectural drawings and perform quantity takeoffs for steel and required accessories using Bluebeam software.
• Request pricing for specific materials and services from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare project-specific RFIs (Requests for Information) in collaboration with the Project Coordinator.
• Produce detailed reports compiling all materials required for the project, including estimated steel tonnage and project costs.
• Validate quantity takeoff reports before submission to steel erectors/installers.
• Complete project closeout documentation.
• Prepare reports outlining project-specific requirements and considerations.
• Perform all other duties related to the Estimator position.

## Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in Building Drafting (DEP), Construction Estimating (AEC), or another relevant field of study.
• Intermediate written English proficiency, with the ability to read and analyze work-related documents on a daily basis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu.
