Mining Metals Commercial Director

Lead commercial strategy across mining and metals while applying 15 years of sector experience and multidisciplinary engineering leadership.
AFRY seeks an Engineering Director to create commercial plans aligned with company goals. The position combines market research, business planning, customer relationships, and stakeholder partnerships. It supports international and global project execution across industrial, mining, mineral processing, and metals projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company objectives
- Identify opportunities to accelerate business growth
- Research markets and formulate expansion business plans
- Acquire customers and maintain client relationships
- Monitor metrics, targets, budgets, and financial performance
Requirements:
- At least 15 years experience within Mining & Metals
- Leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams of 5-30 professionals
- Experience coaching managers, technical leaders, and engineers
- Experience with large-scale industrial or mining projects
- Engineering, business administration, or finance degree
