Job Responsibility:
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and custodial services, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our guests and ensuring that all areas are impeccably clean and well-maintained.
Duties
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are maintained regularly.
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around events or peak occupancy periods.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a housekeeping role; previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff alike.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.49-$20.00 per hour
