iBwave is looking for a talented Software Developer to join our team. Job Purpose

As a software developer focusing on CAD Modeling, you will be responsible for implementing innovative canvas modeling tools in both 2D and 3D. Your duties will include designing software solutions to meet project requirements, maintaining and refactoring existing code, writing tests, and fixing bugs; all while simultaneously ensuring we have the fastest, most scalable modeling tools for our newest web applications. We are looking for a Software Developer to work with our engineering and product teams to improve the awesomeness of our applications and services. You will be part of a scrum team of 6-9 people.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, particularly in web-based Drawing Tool Applications

• Strong proficiency in Web Assembly, Service Workers, WebGL, and various 3D libraries (JS/Typescript/ Threejs, Babylon js/Vis.gl/)

• Extensive experience with React (Typescript) or similar modern front-end frameworks

Desired

• Solid understanding or hands-on experience with C#/.NET is a plus

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality and scalable software solutions, preferably on a microservices architecture

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of innovative Drawing Tool Applications in both 2D and 3D on web platforms

• Utilize expertise in Web Assembly, Service Workers, and WebGL to optimize performance and user experience

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, design, and implement scalable and maintainable solutions

• Leverage knowledge of 3D libraries (JS/Typescript) such as Babylon.js, three.js, vis.gl to create rich and immersive graphical experiences

• Apply engineering knowledge, especially in Physics and Mathematics, to enhance the technical foundation of the applications

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of front-end frameworks, particularly React (Typescript) or other modern frameworks

• Work closely with the team to ensure code quality, best practices, and adherence to project timelines
