Your responsibilities will also include enhancing a customer-focused culture through proactive legal insights. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on commodity derivatives
  • Engage with and direct external counsel
  • Research complex national and regional legal issues
  • Advise on proposed and amended legislation
  • Champion compliance and operational risk management
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a recognized law school
  • 8–10 years in-house or private practice experience
  • Member in good standing of a Canadian Law Society
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proven problem-solving and drafting abilities
