Your Role: Controls & Robotics Engineer
As a Controls & Robotics Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and improving automation and robotic systems. Your work will range from enhancing existing platforms to creating new solutions from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement control systems for robotics and automation solutions
- Program and integrate robotics systems, including motion control and machine logic
- Contribute to the development of reusable automation “building blocks” for future projects
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend system improvements
- Specify, select, and implement hardware and software tools
- Support system integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, and software domains
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and processes
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Strong foundation in industrial automation and robotics systems Technical Skills
- Experience designing electrical and control systems
- Python
- C++
- ROS
- Qt
- PLC programming (Ladder Logic) and HMI development
- Communication protocols (RS-232, TTL, CAN, Ethernet/IP)
- Linux environments and computer networking
- Object-oriented programming and multithreading
- Robotics vision systems, SLAM/LiDAR, and localization
- Motion systems (servo drives, stepper systems)
- Data logging and performance analysis (e.g., OEE)
- AutoCAD or electrical design tools
- Hands-on troubleshooting and electrical system support

- Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams
- Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement
