Senior Automation Validation Engineer

United Pharma

Validate robotic medical-device assembly systems in Cambridge, Ontario, using PLC, SCADA, and computerized system validation expertise. Onsite work is required.This Senior Automation Validation Engineer supports automated manufacturing equipment through testing and validation. The work covers industrial controls, automation architecture, equipment functionality, data integrity, and regulated manufacturing practices. Candidates need PLC programming knowledge, Rockwell Automation and FactoryTalk View experience, and strong technical writing.Key Responsibilities:
Author and execute FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, and TMV protocolsTest PLC logic, sequences, interlocks, alarms, and recovery conditionsPerform software verification and validation throughout system lifecyclesVerify traceability, electronic records, databases, and data flowsDocument results, discrepancies, evidence, deviations, and protocol closeoutRequirements:
Six years with PLC- and SCADA-controlled automation or assembly equipmentRegulated manufacturing environment experienceAdvanced PLC programming and industrial automation architecture knowledgeRockwell Automation suite and FactoryTalk View experienceStrong technical writing, troubleshooting, and cross-functional communication skillsApply automation validation expertise to PLC, SCADA, data integrity, and medical-device assembly equipment testing onsite.
