Data Platform Engineer in Halifax

Elevate your career with TSR Consulting as a Senior Data Platform Engineer in Halifax, Montreal, or Toronto. This onsite role is focused on database optimization and robust pipeline development. TSR Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Data Platform Engineer to contribute to database administration and pipeline support. You will engage in data modeling, query tuning, and workflow orchestration using tools like Apache Airflow. This 6+ month onsite position requires hands-on experience with NoSQL databases and data integration techniques. Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and optimize MongoDB, MS SQL, and Redis databases
• Design data models and schemas effectively
• Tune and optimize SQL queries for performance
• Develop and support ETL/ELT pipelines
• Handle event streaming with Apache Kafka and Solace Requirements:
• Proficiency in NoSQL and SQL database management
• Experience with Apache Airflow and cron jobs
• Skills in data ingestion and transformation
• Strong troubleshooting and production support abilities
