Elevate CNC machining processes with a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer role in Abbotsford. Specialize in tooling optimization and operational efficiency with direct collaboration in a dynamic team. In this fully onsite position, you will report to the Director of Product Development. Focusing on CNC machining, your responsibilities include driving cycle time reduction and providing manufacturability feedback. Your expertise in CNC programming and troubleshooting will be key to achieving continuous improvements. Key Responsibilities:
• Drive cycle time reduction efforts through program updates
• Identify tooling optimization opportunities with data-driven decisions
• Design fixturing to enhance both existing and new production
• Collaborate with engineering teams for manufacturability feedback
• Create work instructions and inspection checklists for machinists Requirements:
• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
• Proficient in SolidWorks for modeling and design
• Proven experience in multi-axis CNC programming
• Hands-on experience with Mazak and/or Okuma machines
• Legally authorized to work in Canada Bring your CNC expertise to optimize machining processes and drive continuous improvement.
