Senior Naval Systems Engineer

Lead naval systems engineering in Halifax with expertise in requirements, integration, verification, and validation. This permanent, full-time role supports Anti-Submarine Warfare systems.Morson Edge seeks an experienced Senior Systems Engineer for defence projects supporting the Royal Canadian Navy and its partners. Apply systems engineering processes across project lifecycles, manage requirements, and guide complex technical work. Use trade studies, reviews, and risk assessments to support sound engineering decisions.Key Responsibilities:
Lead systems engineering throughout the full project lifecycleDefine and manage system and subsystem requirementsOversee design, integration, verification, and validationConduct trade studies, technical reviews, and risk assessmentsGuide multidisciplinary teams, customers, and junior engineersRequirements:
Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplineSix or more years of systems engineering experienceKnowledge of systems engineering processes and methodologiesExperience with EMI/EMC, MIL-STD requirements, and environmental qualificationEligibility to obtain and maintain Secret security clearanceBring technical leadership, requirements expertise, and integration experience to Anti-Submarine Warfare systems in Halifax’s defence sector.
