As a Capture Artist, you will capture EAFC footage (Mobile and Gen 5) that will be used for marketing and promotional content. A Capture Artist is a specialist in the game with the ability to play and save gameplay moments. You have knowledge of the franchise, the culture of FC and soccer, and an understanding of cinematic camera language.
Responsibilities
- Play FC and capture gameplay clips from the game for marketing and social media use.
- Achieve the best results while working within the confines of unfinished technology.
- Communicate any issues with leads to determine the best way to adjust capture to achieve the visual goal for the asset.
- Archive and manage assets.
- Plan and complete small- to medium-sized projects and coordinate captures with additional Capture Artists to accomplish shots.
- Work with Leads & Supervisors to create and organize trackers across multiple projects.
- Communicate with Leads & Supervisors and production partners on project status.
Requirements
- Experienced gamer with a specialty in EAFC Mobile.
- Deep knowledge of both the EAFC franchise and soccer is a must.
- Deeply familiar with PC, mobile, and current-generation video game consoles.
- Team-oriented.
- Ability to focus on multiple projects and tasks in group settings under high pressure.

Compensation And Benefits
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$67,000 - $92,700 CAD
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
