Bakery Kitchen Manager

Sullivan & Bleeker Baking Co. is an established bakery in Toronto, ON specializing in cupcakes, cookies and candy and supplies to fine food retailers in Toronto and the surrounding GTA, across Canada, and in the USA. The production manager will be expected to seamlessly oversee all production, while maintaining company standards and ensuring proper food safety and record keeping procedures are followed.

The ideal candidate is able to:

• Effectively supervise and lead a team
• Work efficiently and demonstrate good time management skills
• Display comprehensive note taking and organizational skills
• Understand and implement quality control and food safety procedures
• Listen attentively
• Follow direction
• Display close attention to detail
• Have strong knowledge of GMP/HACCP

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Supervising production teams
• Calculating and recording labour costs
• Maintaining lot code records
• Maintaining inventory counts
• Filling out packing lists, BOLs and customs paperwork
• Shipping & Receiving
• Working closely with office staff to ensure timely and smooth deliveries
• Training new staff
• Organizing, collecting, and expediting daily orders for clients
• Ensuring quality control procedures are maintained and recorded as per the company's HACCP program
