Lead agentic AI architecture and delivery as a Principal Data Scientist with Robots and Pencils, working remotely across Canada. Shape enterprise-scale systems.This senior technical leadership role guides an entire agentic AI program across many concurrent workstreams. You will define technical vision, reference architecture, and evaluation standards while guiding large teams through complex delivery challenges. The work spans LLMs, multi-agent orchestration, RAG, and ML platforms.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee agentic AI workstreams from framing through production operationDefine architecture, technical strategy, and program-wide engineering standardsEstablish evaluation frameworks for quality, safety, cost, and latencyResolve dependencies and blockers across technical delivery streamsAdvise executives and client leaders on high-stakes technical decisionsRequirements:
12+ years in data science and AI/MLEnterprise experience moving AI systems from research to productionHands-on LLM, RAG, orchestration, embeddings, and tool-calling experienceStrong Python, MLOps, software engineering, and system design skillsExperience leading large, multi-team technical programsBring principal-level data science leadership, agentic AI expertise, and enterprise delivery judgment to Robots and Pencils remotely across Canada.
