Security Guard - North Vancouver

Job Skills / Requirements
We are currently looking for Security Officers to join our team at a shopping centre in North Vancouver for full-time and part-time positions.
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Please note that shift start or end times may fall outside of regular transit hours, so candidates with a vehicle that they can use to get to and from the site are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the site
- Provide excellent customer service
- Communicate with clients, tenants, members of the public, and emergency responders
- Handle evictions and de-escalate conflict situations
- Write detailed incident reports
- Enforce property rules and bylaws
- Other duties to meet operational needs
You are a good fit if you have:
- A valid BC Security Worker License
- Prior work experience in the security industry and customer service
- Experience handling aggression or dealing with incidents independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Physical ability to complete the job duties, including patrolling indoors and outdoors for the majority of your shift
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
