Deliverables

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL data pipelines and data infrastructure using SQL, Python, Spark, and Microsoft Azure , integrating multiple enterprise data sources for analytics, BI, and reporting.
• Develop and optimize dimensional data models , transformations, queries, and processing jobs to deliver reliable, performant, business-ready datasets while implementing appropriate data quality and security controls .
• Build CI/CD pipelines, reusable development modules, automation scripts, and deployment processes , improving the scalability, reliability, maintainability, and efficiency of enterprise data solutions.
• Provide ongoing production/Tier 2 support, pipeline monitoring and troubleshooting , while maintaining technical documentation, metadata/catalog information and delivering enhancements through Agile sprints.

Experience Required

• 6–8+ years of Data Development / Data Engineering experience , with demonstrated responsibility for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale data pipelines and data solutions.
• Strong hands-on development expertise with SQL, Python, and Apache Spark , including complex data transformations, query/job optimization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data services and developing cloud-native ETL/ELT solutions within an Azure data environment.
• Experience with data modelling and BI/reporting enablement , particularly dimensional modelling, integrating multiple data sources, data quality, metadata/cataloguing, and governed enterprise datasets.
• Four-year university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline , with experience in Agile delivery, CI/CD/DevOps automation, production monitoring, documentation, and Tier 2 support .
