WHAT YOU WILL DO
Under the direction of the Assistant Manager, the Sr. Forest Technologist is responsible for forest development activities including reconnaissance road/cutblock engineering, ecological and riparian assessments, and completing the associated plans, deliverables, and appraisal packages in a safe, timely, cost effective and professional manner.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- A safety conscious attitude;
- Post-secondary education with a diploma or degree in forestry;
- Registered or eligible to be registered with the FPBC;
- Minimum three (3) years' experience of multiphase timber development experience in British Columbia;
- Broad understanding and experience in general forestry practices and operational forest planning; and
- A valid driver's license and safe driving record.

- Able to work both independently under limited direct supervision as well as in a project team environment;

- Able to work with excellent attention to detail with work accuracy and quality.
