Executive Director of IT in Victoria

Lead the Information Management and Technology department as an Executive Director in Victoria, BC. Drive strategic visions, implement cybersecurity initiatives, and enhance service quality within the organization.
This regular full-time role reports directly to the Assistant Auditor General, providing vital leadership in information management and technology solutions. You'll oversee IT strategies, enterprise architecture, and disaster recovery, ensuring alignment with the OAG’s goals. Bring your extensive experience in executive advising and IT management to a position where you can directly influence operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop vision for information technology and cybersecurity
• Oversee enterprise information architecture and program development
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and policies
• Provide authoritative advice on budgets and systems
• Lead HR management within the ITS department
Requirements:
• Degree in computer science or related field
• Minimum seven years of relevant leadership experience
• Proven track record in strategic planning and business transformation
• Experience managing IT budgets and contracts
• Successful completion of security screening for B.C. public service
