For more information on Lac La Biche County check out these links: Lac La Biche County - Home and Employment Opportunity - Enterprise Application Analyst, Permanent Full-Time Department: Information Technology Lac La Biche County is seeking a skilled and collaborative Enterprise Application Analyst to join our Information Technology team. Reporting to the Manager, Information Technology, this position is responsible for administering, supporting, and continuously improving the County’s enterprise applications and databases. Working within a small, agile IT team, the Enterprise Application Analyst plays a key role in ensuring business systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with organizational needs. The role combines enterprise application administration, database support, systems analysis, reporting, and operational IT collaboration. Enterprise Applications
- Administer and support corporate enterprise systems and ERP applications.
- Configure workflows, security roles, and system functionality.
- Coordinate upgrades, patches, testing, and deployments.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex application issues and vendor support.
- Work with departments to translate business needs into effective system solutions.
Database & Data Management
- Administer and maintain enterprise application databases.
- Monitor performance, data integrity, backups, and recovery processes.
- Support data migrations, reconciliations, audits, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with security, legislative, and records management standards.
Reporting & Systems Improvement
- Develop operational and management reports.
- Support integrations between internal and third-party systems.
- Assist with business analysis, testing, and user acceptance activities.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Team & Organizational Support
- Participate in IT operations, change management, and incident resolution.
- Maintain documentation, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal users and stakeholders.
- Support County committees, emergency management duties, and organizational initiatives.
Education & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience supporting enterprise business applications or ERP systems.
- Experience with database administration and enterprise data environments.
Assets
- Experience supporting municipal or public sector systems.
- Certifications related to ERP systems (Oracle Fusion ERP), Oracle/MS SQL databases, project management, or business analysis.
- Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development.
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP, HRIS, payroll, permitting, asset management, or GIS platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer service focus.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a collaborative team environment.
This position works primarily in a professional office environment with occasional operational support requirements as needed. Lac La Biche County offers a collaborative workplace culture committed to safety, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
Reports To: Manager, Information Technology
Location: Lac La Biche County, Alberta (On Site) (No Remote Work Option)
Status: Permanent Full Time
Days & Hours of Work: Based on 1820 hours annually, 35-hour work week, typically Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. plus on-call rotation. May require evenings or weekends for special projects or emergency work.
Working Conditions: Physical office setting. May involve working at various County facilities as required.
Salary: $77,308.50 to $99,260.07 annually ($42.48 to $54.54 hourly) What we have to offer: Comprehensive benefits and pension package:
