Job Description: 
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for sorting incoming/outgoing warehouse product with or without material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Pay Range: $16.00 ( Base Minimum) - $20.00 per hour
Pay Scale:  Based on productivity 

Shift: ( Full- Time Only)
First Shift – Sunday to Thursday 5:00 A M – Finish
First Shift – Monday to Friday 5:00 A M – Finish

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
- Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.)
- Sorts and organizes freight
- Operate various types of material handling equipment
- Sort, repack, and label freight
- Identify unusable pallets
- Basic ability to read, count and use R F Scanner technology (training provided)
- Remove items from sorting bins, scan and place onto conveyor belt
- Remove items from packing bins, scan items using R F Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list and bag items
- Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. (eg. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
- Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition

Job Requirements:
-6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
- Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
- Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (ie electric pallet jack)
- Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
- Excellent customer service required
- Overtime/ Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
- Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
- Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
- Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
- Effective communication skills
- Safety shoes are required
- Other duties as assigned
