We are seeking a dedicated Tradesperson to join our team. No experience required - as we are seeking motivated individuals interested in learning the masonry craft.

The ideal candidate will be trained in a diverse set of skills in masonry construction, with the ability to build, renovate, and restore various structures. Once trained, this role will require proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as experience in reading blueprints and schematics. The Tradesperson will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

As you advance in your masonry skills, the opportunity for team leadership will be presented to you where graduated pay increases are available.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform construction tasks effectively.
• Build, renovate, and restore structures according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
• Perform masonry work, including laying bricks, stones, or blocks.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Skills (will train)

• Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, and drills.
• Experience with power tools including saws, grinders, and nail guns.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution.
• Knowledge of masonry techniques for building walls and other structures.
• Capability to operate heavy equipment safely when necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Upon hiring, the position will start with a week of observation (trial week). If the company owner and yourself feel this position is a good fit for you, you will progress into the next stages of the in-house training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
